You can enjoy the drive without constantly watching the fuel gauge, and that hybrid technology kicks in around town too, to give you even more range.
Safety features
Not only is the Yaris planet-friendly thanks to that Hybrid technology, but it’s also people-friendly too. As well as Toyota’s standard driver, passenger and curtain airbags to protect occupants from front and side impacts, the Yaris incorporates Vehicle Safety Control technology. This clever bit of electronic wizardry can detect a lateral skid while cornering and immediately compensates by controlling the engine output and the braking force on each tyre. That means you stay in control, even on slippery corners. You also get a cluster of other safety features including:
- Anti-Lock Braking System
- Tyre pressure warning system
- Child restraint systems
- Rear parking sensors (depending on vehicle)
